What do you really think of Miller?

I think he's half a hero and half an idiot and he's so damn depressed he's more likely to get himself spaced than anything else.

But he's family, whether he likes it or not.

He made some dumb decisions but since that all happened I'm not sure I could say that I wouldn't have done the same, if I had the balls that he does.

What makes him family? Just being on your ship?

Nah, that ain't it.

We went through some shit, together. All of us. He saved our skins, first day we met him, and I don't think Holden would have even got off Eros, without 'im.

We fell in together and he fit. Our whole family is made of people that wouldn't exactly fit in anywhere else. But we've got each other. Even when Holden was furious with him an' banned him from the ship, everyone was walkin' around on egg shells like there was a hole that was missin'.

After he died, we left a chair for him.

Back home. When I saw him here, I thought I'd seen a ghost. Scared the shit out of me, for a few seconds.

But I'm glad he's here. I don't know how he's here, but.

He died a hero. He deserves a chance to see what he saved.

You keep using that word. "Hero." Why is heroism so important to you?

I just figured it was important to everyone, but it's definitely important to Mars. Heroism is about helping the common good, right, even at great risk to yourself. It's an important virtue.

So... People who are heroic are somehow better than others? Or does anyone have the potential to be a hero?

Hell, anyone can be a hero. It's what you do, not who you are, right?
