( 0 0 1 ) » WAKE UP

Were you asleep or were you unconscious? It doesn't matter: when you come to, there's an odd taste in your mouth and there's a low-level mechanical hum in the air. Your head hurts and you feel nauseous. You aren't anywhere you know: everything around you is metal, from the floor you lie on all the way to the ceiling. You are dressed in a jumpsuit you definitely weren't wearing before.

"We tried to save the world. I think— I think we did the opposite."

The message repeats on a loop. If you look for its source, you find a comms device on the floor next to you. The logo on its wallpaper says REVERIE TERMINAL. Upon closer inspection, you find the same logo on your jumpsuit.

Welcome to your new home. What choice do you have but to explore your surroundings?

( 0 0 1 . 1 ) » WAKE UP WHERE?

When you wake up, you find that you're not alone. But more importantly, you find that you're in a closet. An empty closet, bar you and your new companion. It's small, cramped, and there is no door that you can see. The ceiling is low, there is barely any lights, only some coming from the tiny flashlight clipped to your suit's shoulder. You cannot be sure that there is any air coming in to the room.

Are these grooves in the wall supposed to mean something?

( 0 0 2 ) » OBSERVATION DECK

There were no windows in the corridor you woke up in and no windows in any of the crew quarters you might have checked for occupants — but there are plenty of windows on the uppermost level of the station, deck 1. In fact, there are windows from floor to ceiling all along the circumference of the station's circular deck, and it's possible to walk along it all. What it shows is a strange solar system you've never seen before and a planet that might resemble one you know, but certainly isn't the same.

You're in space. You don't know where you are. Neither does anyone else.

On deck 3, you find the bar. Tucked away from the crew quarters, it's dimly lit, there are bar stools thrown down on the floor and what looks like some very old drink spills, crusty and dark against the bar top. But there is alcohol here, or at least, what you think is alcohol, in bottles with faded labels, most of them indecipherable. Take a drink, get drunk, start a fight, or start a party? You're stuck on this station, might as well make the most of it, right?

( 0 0 4 ) » SPACEQUAKES

One second, you are is walking. Magnetic boots are on, the ground feels solid enough, for a metal deck in a space station. Everything is perfectly fine, or at least as fine as it can be, given that you still don't know where you are or how you came to be here.

The next moment, it's like everything explodes around you. You're thrown against the wall as sparks erupts from electrical panels, as the whole station rumbles and shakes around you. You fall to the deck, earning yourself scratches from the grating. When you look up, it's like nothing has happened. No wires hanging from open panels, no flickering lights, no more shaking. Like an earthquake in space.

The station features a variety of locations, from sleeping quarters free for the claiming to a dirty swimming pool and a bar that still holds alcohol (though some of the bottles seem to have been opened a while ago).

Go wild, but don't wreck the place. It's your home for the foreseeable future, after all.

[Gundam blearily cracks an eye open, calmly surveying the unfamiliar closet around him. It’s not as if he was a stranger to confined areas recently. It was almost a little relieving to wake in some odd foreign closet than it was to wake in the all too familiar deluxe room of Strawberry House. There is something troubling about this scenario though which Gundam realizes soon after waking. He can’t feel the familiar warmth of four small creatures on his person. His Dark Devas of Destruction--!! Gundam’s accusatory glance rests on the only other person he’s sharing this much too small closet with.]

So! You thought that you could gain the upper hand against me by ensnaring my Dark Devas of Destruction while I was at war against the embalmer of the still midnight on the astral plane! Such despicable cowardice--!! Rise from your deceitful slumber, oh odious fiend!

If you return my underlings to me now, I shall render your impending death with some mercy!

Insolent fool,

Wherever you are hiding on this accursed space station, you maybe believe you have the upper hand against me now that you possess the Devas of Destruction. A lowly fiend such as your self would of course be utterly incapable of understanding their true potential!

Perhaps the reason I have been unable to sense you is that your worthless body has already been incinerated by their merciless hellfire! Return them to me at once to spare yourself and everyone upon this station from the insatiable embers of their wrath!

[Hajime just groans as he comes to, bringing a hand up to rub his head. He doesn't recognize the voice, and honestly, he's a little aggrevated to be in this closet in the first place. This isn't the first time he's been yanked around this stupid space station? It is the first time one of the weird... ghostly forces -- that he's firmly insisting are not ghosts, that's too unreal -- has managed to drag him around hard enough that it must have knocked him out.

And closed the door on him. And trapped this stranger in here, with him.

What is he yelling about??]

Look, you can yell about whatever you want after we get this door open, okay?

[....Hm. Where is the door, exactly? He squints in the near darkness, trying to get around the other teen to get a better look.]

Where... are we? [This bit of station doesn't look too familiar, but then again, he tries not to enter mysterious closets.]

[It takes Gundam a moment to recognize the voice of who exactly he's threatening in this small closet-- it really is quite tight in here actually. This would actually be incredibly uncomfortable if it were someone other than Hinata, Gundam realizes.

Out of nervous habit he reaches for his scarf to pull it farther up his face, but much like his four hamsters it's not with him here either.]

Of course! [Gundam clenches his fist dramatically in the darkness.] Tremble with fear, fools! Behold the unfathomable power of the Supreme Overlord of Ice!

An abomination like Monokuma was no match for the strength of our sacred oath!

[Hajime... has no idea what this guy's talking about, at all, and while normally he'd be comfortable just calling him a chuuni and moving on with his life, he's met enough distinctly abnormal people not to count him out just yet.]

Hajime looks directly into the camera like an episode of The Office. He's just met this person, and already he's tired.]

[He doesn't sound convinced, but rather deadpan as he fumbles around for the little flashlight and starts shining it around their little closet, looking for a seam of any kind.]

Hey, do you think if we kick against this, we could knock it loose?

If you were brought here without something, it was likely because of the displacement.

[Marina isn't particularly claustrophobic, but being this close to some stranger is really uncomfortable. She can't make out much detail of this guy's features--black tentacles, maybe? Probably an inkling, just because of how few octarians have made it out so far, but it's way too dark and she's not going to start feeling his ears or anything... Well, maybe what he's saying is more important. And weird.]

I didn't take anything from you. I don't even know what's going on. [Carefully, she starts feeling along the walls. Metal. That's not super helpful.]

[Gundam pushes backwards against the wall as much as possible to give himself more space. He can't stand being this close to a human being. It's utterly tortuous.]

Fool! As if such lies would save you from my wrath! Even without my Four Dark Devas I am a force that makes both heaven and hell quake with fear!

[Marina has no idea how seriously she should be taking this guy, but she keeps feeling for any sign of a door or a grate or a vent. There's gotta be something...]

[This guy is clearly the opposite of helpful. Marina swaps to her octopus form--it's like a sudden shrinking in on herself, turning to something much more liquidy before she's on the ground and much smaller.] I'm trying to figure out how to get us out of here.

Gundam has no idea what that squelchy sound was, but it could only be described as... unpleasant. Particularly in the darkness.]
