We ended up in CQB.

A PDC round went right through the hull and his head and out the other side again.

He deserved better.

Right. Sorry. Close Quarter Battle - means bein' less than a thousand clicks of each other, or close enough where you don't need guided missiles to hit.

PDC's are Point Defence Canons - though honestly, might have been a rail gun. Wasn't exactly in a state to tell.
