Damn. You're right. That's basic application of the theory of relativity.

I think you're right about the location. Not everybody here is from Earth, but nobody recognizes this place. But that doesn't mean as much as it should. There's only a few dozen of us. There could be ten times the number, all from wholly different places and times, and still countless places just in the Milky Way that none of us would recognize.
