Instead of being offended, Alucard actually smiles wryly at how Connor approaches the subject of magic. It makes sense, with how influenced by technology he clearly is, and Alucard can't really fault him for focusing on a scientific approach. He'll leave that alone, for the time being.

"The station has at least behaved in odd ways, such as walls, floors, or a door suddenly liquefying when someone touches it, then immediately hardening and trapping them within. There also has been presumably hauntings, but I admit these could be holographic displays of some kind, though I don't know where the source would be from. None of us have located it."
