[his own expression turns soft at apollo's smile. it's something he's missed during all the time he's spent away from the carrier. away pretending to be human. the few times that their paths had crossed over those months away had never been filled with anything worth smiling about. sure, he missed apollo more than he could ever really explain. but it hadn't been enough to keep him from leaving time and time again. if it wasn't something he knows he needed to do, he'd regret it.
