For this reason, the appearance of the Domesticon terminal leaning against one of the walls comes as a surprise. It looks identical to the ones found on the facility where she had fallen—had her captors removed this terminal as well as Arid’s body from the planet? For what purpose?
The familiar voice of the Domesticon mainframe sounds from the speaker and Arid finds herself stalling in her approach, fighting off the internal prompt that urges her to brace.
