The inspection borders on clinical. In fact, it should have been nothing but clinical, but in the short amount of time he'd known Alucard, Connor had come to like him and didn't like the thought of someone else harming him.

"I see. So, more blood will allow you to heal faster? The amount you are able to consume presently is letting you heal slowly?" He wanted to make sure he understood correctly.
Alucard's words had him immediately calculating what sort of wound would be fatal to him.
"'He'? Were you injured before you arrived?" Or had it been someone onboard? Connor wasn't sure what he would do if that were the case. There were no police here, no courts and no prison. Would they collectively be able to provide justice fairly if one of their own turned out to be a criminal?
He frowned a little, "I see. So, you really should be resting. Or, in the very least, avoiding strenuous activity."
